This blog is highly inspired by Cook’s Illustrated Magazine from The Test Kitchen, and by Quinciple, which is a farm to table, local as possible grass fed everything weekly food delivery (via bike messenger, duh!) that services specific areas in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Based in– but not limited to- NYC and will cover everything from my kitchen experiments to restaurants, bakeries, eateries, food trucks- you name it! I came to NYC in September of 2012 as a nurse working 3 days a week with a lot of time on my hands. I was in desperate need of a hobby. Cooking became my first friend in NY (happy tear!).
